Brothers Bar & Grill: Great times at a great price

May 3, 2010

For those that love sports, pool tables, reasonably priced beer and a modern, lively bar, Brothers Bar and Grill is a great place to while away a few hours.

The main area of this Midwestern bar is roomy with a good mix of clientele. This clean, smoke-free and trendy establishment on Broad Ripple Avenue also serves up a great selection of appetizers, burgers and wings with tasty house made sauces and great beer specials.

The Americana menu has something for everyone, with a selection of appetizer’s that won’t disappoint. House favorite is the Jumbo Pretzel Sticks, served with house made horseradish mustard sauce and a side of Wisconsin Beer Cheese Soup. Or have the Gator Balls – Chicken Breast wedges wrapped in bacon, stuffed with pepper jack cheese and green jalapenos and served with house made peppercorn ranch.

For wing lovers, try the Boneless Double – a pound of chicken tossed in your choice of sauce and served with house made blue cheese dressing. Maybe go for the aptly named Big Dog – ¼ pound beef frank served on a poppy seed bun, served with fries and topped with you a variety of choices like Chili, relish pickles, spicy garlic, Queso Sauce or mayo.

The Diner Burgers, all cooked on a flat griddle, include the California Burger – topped with shredded lettuce, Pico De Gallo, pepper jack cheese and guacamole, or the Inferno Burger – topped with pepper jack cheese, sliced jalapenos, buffalo sauce with lettuce, tomato, onion and slices of dill pickles.

Don’t for get to glance at the entrees like Chicken Fajitas – marinated and grilled chicken breast served with bell peppers and onions with flour tortillas, salsa, guacamole and sour cream.

The selection of domestic beers is impressive but the tap beers are second to none with over thirty on draft including 312, Shiner Bock, Stella Artois, Leinenkugel’s Sunset, Upland Wheat, Killians and Guinness.

HelloIndianapolis Tip: Be sure to ask about their beer specials!
