My new favorite Place!!

This is my first time writing a review but the experience at the salon made it worth it. From the moment you walk in you feel comfortable and welcomed. Even my husband was pampered with some refreshments and he wasn't getting anything done. All of the employees were very friendly and attentive. The salon gives the impression of a very upscale place but the prices are very competitive. I went to Danita for the second time and she is very friendly and chatty. I enjoy her company and my haircut is Very Cute! She seems very detail oriented and I have the best ...best highlights and low lights ever. She has earned my loyalty. I'm not a fan of going to the salon religiously but if I was, this is the place to go.

Pros: Every aspect of the salon exceeded my expections

Cons: Location is a bit tricky

Terrible customer service, great stylists, very rude owner

Should you sacrifice customer service and respect for the customer for a good haircut? That is the question you’ll have to ask yourself if you go to Lush Art of Hair Salon. I have always believed that customer service improves with cost of your purchase. Compare the sales associate at Saks Fifth Avenue with the cashier at Wal-Mart. Working with the owner of Lush is like shopping at Saks with Wal-Mart’s cashier as your customer service. She showed very little regard for the customer, and was blatantly rude, defensive, and condescending. Is a great haircut worth $400, and dealing with Cruella DeVille? Your call. (oh, and a week of phone tag when you want to make an appointment, since they are apparently too cheap to have a receptionist and make a policy of not answering the phones. Say “hi” to the answering machine!)

Pros: great stylists will give you a great result

Cons: Unnecessarily expensive (a cut & color cost me $350); and...

Professional, Expensive, Hair Loss Experts!

I have been working with other salons on hair loss and have found Lush The Art of Hair to be the best (and most expensive) to date. I do, however, have a problem with their cancellation policy and slowness in returning calls.

Pros: Experts on hair loss

Cons: Expensive, cancellation policy. return calls
