Artist Bio
Patti Trostle is a full time oil portrait artist. Working in a variety if mediums she finds many materials to be the grist for artistic expression. Her abiding passion is for oils. The main focus of her work is oil portraiture and figurative work. Through the mastery and skill of rendering the likeness of her subjects, her oil portrait business has been flourishing for more than thirteen years. Patti also enjoys taking time to experience plein air and still life painting. Her oil portraits and oil paintings are in a large number of permanent collections across the United States. Patti`s work has been published in the book Hoosier Painters of the 21st Century . Author Mark Butterfield.
Patti was born and raised in Indianapolis, Indiana, currently residing in Camby Indiana. She has been a full time painter since 1993. Patti is currently working from her studio in the historic Stutz Business Center in Indianapolis Indiana.
