Clay Middle School Reviews

It is an awesome school and I've been going to clay middle school for only one year but it is really good, and I really like it!

I have gone to Clay for two years now. It is an amazing school. The teachers are great. I would recommend this school to anyone looking for a school. Everyone is so nice . . . except for the nurse. But, don't let that one small issue keep you from enrolling in Clay. It is such a great school. Go Clay!

This school is pretty much as great as a school can get. They teach you very well. The princilple is great and the teachers arn't so bad themselfs. If you were looking for a school to go to in carmel. This would be the one.

I agree that this school is farely well. But there nurse is not the friendliest of them all. My daughter was sick one morning, so she went down to her office. The woman only gave her twenty minutes to lay down and then she was sent back to her class. Don't let the nurse stop you from going to this marvelouse school though, because most of their teachers to an exelant job. My daughters favorite class is Science, and she has one of the best teachers that could ever teach that subject. He is so involeved in science, and it seems to be his life.

I love this school. I am a sixth grader new to the schoool district and love it. I strongly recommend this school. Go Clay!!

Clay Middle is a very good school. We recently moved from the area, and I have done alot of research trying to find a middle school for my daughter. There is no school that even remotly compares to the Carmel Clay distric schools. we were sad to leave and hopefully evryone realizes just how lucky they are to have clay middle and carmel high school for their children!!!

I have two sons enrolled in this school and both of them have had excellent teachers, along with some extraordinarily bad teachers. There needs to be more overseeing of teachers, especially the ones that receive a lot of complaints. I have been disappointed in the lack of writing assignments given, and I think the school's overall ISTEP writing scores reflect this. I have also observed that my sons' rarely have more than 30 minutes of homework, and yet they are high achievers. The nurse is extremely unfriendly and unsympathetic with the children who are sick and the guidance counselor is very shallow and insincere. How can students confide in such a person?

We have been very pleased at Clay. We moved our son from a small Catholic school and were apprehensive about going to such a large school. He has been very happy there and has been able to make some very nice friends. The course selection has been fun for him since there was none at his previous school. PTO is very involved, there are many clubs, sports and activities. I also love online grades. I would highly recommend it.
